Late Night

I want a late night talk

A moonlit walk

To watch the warmth of your breath

In the cold air

I want a star lit night

To be held tight

For a semblance that

Someone cares

Let me be your rock

Or a kitchen smock

The laughter missing from your joke

Open the door

Become something more

Let my words reach you

Before I choke
