My Plan Over Vacation

So, I am technically on vacation. Woohoo! This has been a LONG time coming and I could not be more relieved. FINALLY some time to relax and unwind…kind of.

See, I still have goals over this vacation. Maybe it’s my A-Type personality, or maybe I am just growing desperate, but I have two things I want to accomplish:

  1. Don’t gain weight. I want to remain active and in control over this next week, and even though it will be a challenge, I am going to aim to not gain weight while I’m away.
  2. FIGURE OUT MY LIFE.

Yeah, number two is a doozy.

But really, I want to figure out what I’m doing. What are my plans for this blog? What are my goals? What are my fears and how do I conquer them? What do I want? What do I need? What makes me happy? And how can I do more of that?

This time is going to have a lot of self reflection. And I am hoping to come out of this vacation with a solid, actionable plan to get myself to where I want to be. Where is that, exactly? I have some ideas, but I really do want to sit with them and make sense of it all. There are certain things I need to just jump in and do (like writing a book), with other things requiring more planning (like going back to school). My hope is that with all of this, I will be able to make consistent, awesome posts, podcasts, and make progress writing my book, with a sense of direction, instead of self-doubt and overwhelm (I’ve made a schedule for myself but am far from actually adhering to it because I don’t actually have a plan at the moment).

In the meantime, my posts may be a little limited. This blog may be getting a complete makeover of sorts – but the content will be largely similar (the focus of this blog has not changed). I just need to execute a little better, and much more efficiently, so I can deliver content that is up to my (high) standards…consistently.
