Ah, I don’t even know where to begin.
I got to work early (like a champ!), took out my laptop from my backpack, placed it on my desk behind me, turned to my backpack… And saw that the laptop was no longer in there.
Even though moments before I had taken the laptop out, in my coffee-withdrawn state, I forgot about that entirely and was convinced I left my laptop at home. I called my fiancé. I texted my boss. I was going to run home, and went to grab my things… and then saw my laptop sitting right there on my desk.

Luckily, the day got better from there. I even got my workout in today. Admittedly though, I think my brain needs a little rest (and some extra sleep). I am going to take a small step back, do some self-care (reading and tea – yessssss) and have a lower key night tonight. I think I need it!
